MILES OF HAPPINESS

It is Monday. In the morning we load the truck and drive towards the far north of Namibia.

Juanine takes us to remote villages. And something like this has some difficulties with such a transport. That means that the truck has to offload at a village that is fairly close to the main road. A distribution point is set up here. An old pick-up truck (bakkie) drives from here to more distant and difficult to reach villages (kraal). And of course we follow behind. In one of these villages, a distribution space is then cleared from which even more remote villages can be supplied. Inaccessible to cars and that means for many, carrying warm long kilometers… And they are only too happy to do that. As soon as the food has been distributed, the first of your cans of corned beef are already opened.

After a long day, we sleep in Epupa. The next 2 days we complete our tour of the 10 planned villages.

It is impossible to describe all the emotions in this blog. One picture says more than 1,000 words, so this time an additional photo impression.
