THE SHOP IS OPEN FOR A WEEK

Our Himba ‘shop’ has now been open for exactly one week. We are overwhelmed by all the positive reactions, but of course especially by the large amounts of orders and donations that we have already received. That promises a lot! It looks like we are not going to the Kunene region with a few shopping bags, but with thousands of kilos of goods! Wow, keep it up, spread the word.

We are also very happy with Ellen Horlebein from www.wildcherryadventures.com. Ellen is an explorer through and through and one of the most experienced guides in this area. She generates useful and valuable knowledge for us.

Our ‘office’ is currently located in the Western Cape of South Africa. We leave from here in a week for our long journey to Namibia. A rough plan suggests that we will arrive in Opuwo around the first week of December. We will keep you informed and will soon provide an interim report of the contribution.
